In Drømmenes By (‘City of Dreams’), the audience checks in at a red table on a red, circular carpet in the middle of the city. City of Dreams is a walking performance in which the audience is divided into four groups, with each group given an unusual guided tour of the city. The tour weaves in and out of the surprising logic of dreams, which opens a secret door to the city’s parallel universe: a universe with a talking house, the city’s shadows, a rotating mirror machine and dreams in glass.

Drømmenes By (‘City of Dreams’) is about the city as a breeding ground for dreams – daydreams, nightdreams and dreams of the future and the past. Does the city hide more than what we can see with the naked eye? And do we even know our own city?
